BypassQueue

If this had a config file where I could dump 50 players steamID. that would be great.
I have to manually add 50 players to a group :/

Anyone know how this works on vanilla servers? A lot of servers offer VIP for purchase to skip queues.

 

So, how do I make my server "not actually vanilla" but still keep it out of the modded server list?

 

What happens if the server is at capacity, and somebody with 'bypassqueue.allow' attempts to join?

On a 10 slot test server I rent, I set server.maxplayers to 2, filled it to capacity with myself (admin) and a friend (non admin), then granted bypassqueue.allow to a 3rd person. The third person was able to connect allowing a total of 3 people to join, even though server.maxplayers was set to only 2.

I'm assuming that anybody with 'bypassqueue.allow' can join up to a total of 10. Will that simply stop at 10?

At what point can players no longer connect? If server.maxplayers is set to 150 and 20 people are granted bypassqueue.allow, will 170/150 people join?

That seems ok if my host has provisioned for 170 players to connect. Let's say my host only provisions for 160. What happens after it reaches 160/150?

The server.maxplayers is set on (for example) 100, so max 100 people can join.
But I assume this plugin just makes it so more than 100 people can join, right?

Regardless of the max slots you get from a hosted server company. Or am I mistaken?
Because then it WOULD be nice to try and just rent a 50 slots server, put 'default' into the bypass and let 100 people join the server. Unless the hosting company actually monitors for active players.

Or is there a setting which gives an amount of "reserved" slots from that 100 people so only max (for example) 92 "normal" people can join, and 8 slots are reserved for vips

 

Does a command exist to see who you have given bypassqueue.allow? Thank you.

 

I have installed this on my server, but nothing is happening? it doesnt say it is loaded etc, could someone also link me the guides and tips page for this plugin please? Thanks

 

I have sorted that now bu twhen people try to join the server is says this Kicking 2.84.24.103:65531/76561198208722560/TheLegend27.exe - their protocol is 2048 not 2049.

whats happening?

 

Is there a way to add a large list of steam id's to the bypass queue permission without having to do it one by one typing?
