so one of my admins has the rank admin but when he types something all is shows next to him is player

none of my ranks work except mine witch i have set to Owner

 

In the oxide/data/betterchat/groups.json file, make sure you set hideifnothighestpriority to true. Make sure that Owner is Either 0 or 1 and then set the other ranks to correspond. So if Owner is 0, set the next group to 1 and so on. This makes it so that it will hide the default player tag if another tag they have is a higher priority.

The default group is always the highest number so if you have 10 groups default will be number 9 as Owner is 0

If you are still having problems with this upload the groups.json so I can check it

 

I noticed that for the Devolved and Mod group, the prefix is Player. That is the issue for those ranks. You need to change the prefix to Say Mod, Admin, Owner, Devolved or what ever other ranks you have.
