Your plugin have it's own timer for airdrop (for example, 60 min for me). But it's not block original rust planes with supply crates. So I have not only one drop for 60 min, but ~4-5.
Is it possible to block these original airdrops?

 

I don't think rust itself send airplanes, i think you have another plugin doing it, it is possible to block the other airplanes, just didn't tought it would be needed.

Yep. Only the plugins in the config file.

 

Nice plugin but its a bother to make custom loot for all items : / you could make so items in config have a much higher percentage versus default items.

I've tried this plugin on a test server, the only other plugin being Airdrop Controller, with Henkles config and I get many empty crates. Console reports that the minimum value is higher than the maximum. Which has been reported before here.


Can anyone confirm it is working for them with Airdrop Controller?

Also could the plugin please be renamed - its AirdropControl when reported by console. That's too close to AirdropController (maybe I've got the names backwards but that illustrates the point).

Is it possible to have an option to use standard loot (or BetterLoot) and just increase the number of items (slots) in the drop.

Would love to get this working.

If you getting empty crates it is either a item with a wrong name or the min/max amount you added inside is higher than your stack sizes.

I'll be renaming the plugin sometime today, not sure when.

The default loot is only used in 6 locations, the other 12 would have to be custom aswell and better loot does not work in supply drops, the only thing it does is remove the black listed items ( if any is removed, then it will add something ).

 

antisoma, I've been asking for this from the start. Too many people just want to add more items to the drops, and thanks to a sparse configuration file and people having massive problems making a list of their own, means this plugin just isn't good enough. Shame because its so close to being a perfect tool. This plugin makes it easy to restrict loot, but not add more loot.

If the default configuration file included all items, this plugin would be massively more useful and popular.

 

Might seem like a stupid question but, how do you manually call in a drop with this plug-in?

 

You do it from the console, type event run. But its nothing to do with this plugin.

Thanks for the responses above and for explaining the difficulty with standard and Better Loot.

Maintaining a default custom list is a difficult and endless task thanks to new items each week. The other problem is of course is that the oxide list of items maintained in the API documentation contains useless items like beds and unimplimented items like high walls.

I now understand the stack issue. At least I think I do.

I think a default config with every possible item would be enormously helpful. I'm happy to help maintain it if we could start with an example, that is broken down in the same categories as given in the F2 give menu in game.

 

Man this plugin is perfect, just learn to do a config file. And personnaly, i prefer add item by item than have a full list and delete items one by one...

I done a list with good short names, done stacks of items not higher than my stacks and i don't have problems.

 

But its quite possible for a programmer to generate a new item list when they arrive, and add them automaticly to existing config files. For a user to make the config takes considerable time.

And no, i don't will share my config for 2 reasons, i done it with long time, don't want give it.
And you probably don't done same stacks than me, and you will have empty crates.

 

Exactly, it takes forever to make. my point made.
