Airdrop Organizer [Unmaintained]

I just did a fresh install of this plugin and config, ran a test airdrop but the server still crashed. I have no other plugins interfering with the airdrop, no clue what is going on atm. Also consider adding a minimum player option to the config, that would be fantastic

 

Nice idea.. but.. i use supply, cargo freeze.. server crash... no response..

Is this a re-write of AirDrop Settings?.

I am also experiencing problems. It deadlocks when the plane is about to drop it's cargo.

 

Its a great plugin when it works. Hope Wolfsdarker fix the problems

 

Not work properly and caused a crash on my serveur too...

 

Wolfsdarker, whats causing the loot to only be dropping items from the first items_list in the config file as me and some other have problem with? I have updated to latest version of the plugin.

Havent Done any changes to the config file. Just updated to the last version and the Airdrops started to drop items from first list.

 

Server is crashing without logs and or errors, it eventually gets some heap error to the client and the server stops responding. To simplify things I removed everything except for the following.

Everything is running on default configs, nothing added.

I know that Rust:IO shows airdrops on the map, so I don't know if any of this can be linked to that or not considering I don't think you hook into Rust:IO with your plugin. However, I don't get that many Rust:IO warning unless I'm using the latest version of AirdropOrganizer so maybe it's related? I've done my best to test this for you and that's all I got.

 

Tried a fresh install of this plugin now and YES, the server freeze and crash. First time when the Cargo Plane was going to drop the airdrop, and second time when it launched. I remove this plugin till there is a fix.

Crashed again...not sure what it is in this plugin that is causing it. My memory spikes up really quick, causing a restart on my server.

 

The memory leak was a infinite loop in the loot part, its patched now.

 

Still crashing right when the crates get released from the plane. Yes using the latest version 1.2.8.

I will try it again at midnight after my server is less busy, too many people on right now to test it.

 

It's working great, I also highly suggest setting up a Rust Dedicated server on your personal computer for testing. I always have a clone of my live server on my computer. I test everything there first and if it works, I transfer it over to my live server while it's running and just oxide.reload the plugin. You shouldn't have to wait for your server to restart at midnight to do it

 

When this freeze occurs it locks up the server for over 10 minutes. Turns it completely non responsive. Trying any action on the game servers site just results in a time out error. Cant really afford to try this out anymore. The downtime is brutal.

 

You should never use your live server for testing, scroll up. The error has been fixed, it's not freezing the server anymore.

 

I'm poor and broke, but if you'd like to donate a computer so I can test plugins all day. Please send it my way. Just don't expect me to return it.

 

Then how do you even work on your server in the first place? It doesnt take a beefy computer to run a small rust dedicated server for testing.. it's not like people will be playing it all you need is SteamCMD so I don't understand. Do you not own a computer at all? I'm not that rich either...
