Airdrop Controller [Unmaintained]

Others ARE experiencing it.

 

I cant get an airdrop to run. commands wont work anywhere...always invalid command type errors...would i be able to run a rust server on my pc instead of going through a paid for service?...and would this cure the problem?

 

airdrop.massdrop seems to be crashing our server. I've disabled timed execute of "airdrop.massdrop 20" and the server has been stable -- just went in an executed one manually and the server crashed. Nothing in the logs. Anyone else having this issue?

Hmmm, not sure I agree. First off, I've played on a few servers that run 20+ mass drops and there aren't any issues. I don't disagree that they are resource-intensive -- what do you consider to be a reasonable number of airdrops to run at one time? 20 doesn't feel like too many....what's the point of the command (airdrop.massdrop) if you don't drop in mass??

 

I've never done more than 10 drops at once, so if 20 isn't unreasonable then half that should be absolutely no dramas.

However, even calling in one currently is bugged. There's no visible plane, the crates just appear in midair and stay there, frozen.

 

the problem seemed to be with my custom loot with AirdropController. On a fresh server I was calling in 300-400 drops at a time, no issues whatsoever except for some FPS lag. Server never spiked, memory or cpu.

can you add all the messages that the plugin prints to the chat to the config file so i can translate them ? thx.

 

After most recent Rust update they're working again, however the y position reported in chat is actually the position of where the plane was when the crates dropped and not where the crates are.

eg it reported a crate dropping at 320 283 -476 but the crate itself was at 320 81 -476

it's where the drop is made ^^ so it would be at the position of the plane.
i don't think it raelly matters anyway ..

 

I'am having a problem with the server crashing, I do the drop command on myself the cargo lands i go through the items in the cargo and than it crashes what could be causing this?

I changed the loot config file to default and it fixed the problem so it has something to do with editing that file for custom loot, what i cant understand is why it is crashing when i edit the file.

cant seem to load this plugin either since the update :-(

 

nvm it fixed itself but another problem iam having is every now and again the crate disappears when it touches the ground is this just a rust bug?
