1. How can i add a new extension for Rust Experimental? I go to page http://oxidemod.org/extensions/add but there are no ways to select extension type and i cant go to the next step.

  2. As I know you will need to talk with our staff to do that, as extensions got a security risk.
@Wulf, @Mughisi Correct me if I am wrong.

We generally do not accept third-party extensions. Most of the time you can do what you need via plugins, which are sandboxed for the security of server owners and server providers.

  4. But you accept RustIO extension, which works as internal map server.
A wrote a library uses XMPP protocol to organize ingame-gtalk chat for admin. As server administrator, i see, that it is a very important problem to see what players in my server needs from me, and if im not under computer, i cannot see their messages. Not i can see them in my phone, browser and PC using Hangouts.

is there any way to make this extension public if it would be an open-source?

  5. Well. Somebody had made an Extension for the Comunity UI and posted it into the developement section if I am right.

It's a pretty sticky situation due to the complete lack of security with third-party extensions. Hosts generally won't want to install an unknown extension and potentially risk compromising their server(s), which could also be said for some users. You're welcome to post it under the Development forum section for now though, but a warning will be posted for users regardless of it being open-source or not.
