i love you work man, can you please make a better version of the kits plugin.
i can only find one plugin that offers what we are looking for and that is battlefield plugin, you can simply put what skins and what ammo you want to give players, but the rest of the mod is buggy and unreliable. just looking for a simple plugin with a config to give players what they want, its been the only complaint on our deathmatch server the fact that there are no custom skins and the ammo in the guns needs to be high velocity. i can not think of any other way to achieve this. please help the kits plugin cannot do this nor can any of the others, i will be happy to donate.

Thanks for the feedback. I pushed this out fairly quickly so let me know if you see any issues.

I understand what you want but my understanding is we are not allowed to make plugins that allow selection of custom skins (I actually made it that way initially. You mentioned Deathmatch which is setup in a way where you can type the skin id into the data file. This plugin works exactly the same. By default I am writing the skin ID and URL of the skin you had on the equipment when making the set; however after that set is made the data is stored in the AbsolutCombat_Data File. You can go into it and changed the URL to a different picture and the skin ID to a different value. The plugin will automatically update the picture as well.

Ya let me know! I was really excited when I made this but my servers are always empty, so testing was minimal. Just keep me posted and I'll hammer out the issues.

Also keep an eye out for my add-on mod called Defense Points. As soon as I can get it tested I will release it. DP is a simple mod that randomly generates zones for combat. The zone restricts entry to once per player and the last player standing wins. The first player to enter is given the opportunity to build a bunker. The zones are shaded and an icon is placed on the map if using LustyMap.

 

thanks for your answer, yes it does help. i am still confused as in your saying that your not allowed to make plugins that allow selection of custom skins but the battlefield plugin offers exactly what your saying your not allowed. really love that about the battlefield plugin but the plugin its self is not as reliable as i would like. having a populated server people love the fact that there weapons are custom skins and there clothes are custom, i can see why this would be not allowed, but how is this plugin maker geting away with it,

What I am saying is from within the game you can not select a skin. If a plugin is doing that it is news to me.

I believe in battlefield you can set the skin manually by modifying the data file which is different then selecting the skin. You can do the same thing on this plugin. Simply make your set then modify the skin value in the AbsolutCombat_GWData data file.

Could you add Server Rewards support? So the money can be replaced with RP from Server Rewards You know to keep same economic

I would say I probably spent about 8 hours on it of straight coding.. The attachment work was a pain in the ass.

How to enable the collection of resources?

 

Nice work man but i cant find a way to change .json . Everytime i change json file and then oxide.reload AbsolutCombat, the new config doesnt work. I tried just changing a cost and it also doesnt work it just bug all the plugin until it goes back to last saved config.

I want this for changing images, everytime i change json url and then reload the plugin, once it works again( 3 or more reloads) i go into the json file and i can see that the config is back to default "null".

All i could is unload plugin, change json file and load it again, but it doesnt work :S the config changes but plugin get buggy.

Do i need a specific website for uploading them?

P.S: Also cant delete some gears :S havent tried with weaps i mean thot ingame gui

 

Modifying the json can be very tricky so there is always the chance that something is getting messed up; that said if it was messed up it would be refreshing the config back to default (blank) basically.

You are right in that you MUST unload before modifying the json directly as there is a "data protection" attribute to the way I make my mods. This is to prevent you from losing everything from a server crash or something.

Deleting gear is really interesting; do you see any errors?

 

Sry couldnt try anymore , i removed the default sets thot gui, then created 2 more sets , on the second one i did a mistake and i couldnt remove it.

When i have time i will try it further (gotta translater everything for my players xD) and i will give you feedback, thx

 

Wow, i must say this mod looks amazing, ive not yet tried it, but i am def. going to have a server running this, hope this becomes very popular, as i really find an interresting game version for sure.

also how does one make it possible for people to get or buy meds?

Will this work with Costum loot spawn or possibly some sort of auto refill for boxes around the map?
