Will procgen break mapgen in next patch?

I was curious if any of you fine wanderers know if the current map generator will produce valid maps for the upcoming update/wipe on Thursday. Just trying to do a little prep work and pick out a few maps ahead of time, but I don't want to share them with the group if the current map generators won't produce maps consistent with the procgen version on Thursday.
