Solved Which IP addresses do I use?

hey wulf im tryng to reach you to ask for something which is about rust server. i kinda dont understand all these ip addresses thingys so my problem is idk which ip address to use when i enter to rust console i usually use my default getaway which i find on ipconfig but i cant let my friend join me so plz coud you explain it to me i really wanna play this game with my own server. thank you

 

okayy i got my ip from ipcow this one ill give it to my friend and which one should i use to put it after connect in the rust console

okay where can i get the localhost

 

so basically when i open the game i press f1 then type in connect localhost:28105 or you mean 28015 then i give my friend my ip that i found on ipcow right? but what will my friend type in the f1 console is he gonna type in connect the ip address that i found on ipcow the :28015??

just one last thing now my default getaway ip starts 172 exactly like this ip the one that you gave me
127.0.0.1.

do i have to put the second ip address or just the defauly address because i wanna try both the localhost and the default one i just wanna make sure

okat i tried the localhost they told me disconnected wrong connection protocol server update required what do i do and how should i update the server they are telling me for both ips

then in f1 type connect 127.0.0.1:28015 or use what port you are using

pick the one for rust if you want to update I can send you a script that will do it for you if you have skype

i did put the file that is called rustdedicated_data i draged it to the files
