Solved When updating Oxide alone, is a restart required?

    I'd like to know if when you download the latest zip of the Oxide 2 Framework and you unzip and overwrite all the files in your server directory, do you need to restart the server? Or will a oxide.reload * suffice? Or is that even needed? Thanks.

    Your server should be shutdown before upgrading it. A restart is always required.

    Do you have any specific details on when Rust gets patched/updated? I'd like to keep my server up as long as possible in between the weekly client/server updates.(excluding Oxide)

    Rust usually updates every Thursday, generally in the afternoon/evenings for most people. Oxide builds get more frequent updates.
