VPS or dedicated server?

I would highly suggest a dedicated server, as they are much more stable and can run more powerful applications. However I am not too sure on how rust servers run on VPS's as I've never tried it myself. I've always gone the dedicated route.

Thank you very much

If the vps is powerful enough then it will work just fine and will be cheaper than a dedicated server but will never be as good as a dedicated server can be but depends how much you can spend after all you get what you pay for

What is the minimum appropriate CPU frequencies for rust legacy and experimental withouf lags (50-100 players battlefield server ) ?
what is better ?
dedicated server: 4x CPU 1,6 Ghz ( 2,0 Ghz MAX), 8 Gb RAM, 35 Gb SSD, 80 Gb HDD
or
VPS: 4x CPU 2,6 Ghz, 8 Gb RAM, 40 Gb SSD ?
or
