Vanilla auto-restart for updates script

Hello,

I am looking for someone to create / share a solution to automate my vanilla server update process. I am happy to pay for your time / help.

I want it to:
- Check when update is available
- Restart with time notification (eg - Server restrting in 10mins, 5mins, 2mins, 30 secound countdown)
- Must be Linux solution (I don't want to have to run of a Windows box with Rcon)

I already have a script to check if the service is not running, start and run the update, I just need the server to know there is one, and restart.
