So I have my own personal Rust Dedicated Server for my friends and every time the game updates I have to update my server too. I have no way to update it unless I setup my server again. Is there anyway I can update the server without re installing it.

The update steps are the same as the install steps, a full re-install is never needed. Make sure you have "validate" added to your SteamCMD update script.

Still Doesn't work

Yes I am using that script command, but I keep getting the same "Wrong Connection Protocol". This is what I do:
1. Put the steamcmd.exe in my server folder
2.Run the script
3. When it's done I run the server
4. Wrong Connection Protocol Again. -

For the other, generally nothing you can do about, see Solved - GameConfig: Could not resolve host | Oxide
Also, please do not bump threads that are old. This thread is over 1 year old. Instead, create a new topic with your issue. -
Thanks.
