Hey there,,,
So im hosting a rust server for a while now and im getting realy tired of updating oxide manualy all the time. Im wondering if there ist some kind of script or tool that actualy downloads the latest oxide version for rust experimental and extracts it into the server folder...
I already got a batch script for updating the server itself.
But with a batch script for oxide as well i could run a automated task that takes care of the whole update process every week. Possible ? Already Done ? I dont have any scripting experience, soo..... Help needed![]()

[DOUBLEPOST=1437648133][/DOUBLEPOST]Also.. Simple download scripts dont Seems to work With the download adress for rust experimental Oxide. -
You can download latest Oxide not only from this site (https://github.com/OxideMod/Snapshots)
[DOUBLEPOST=1437661058][/DOUBLEPOST]I did batch file for you (Windows). Just rename it with .bat extension.
You also need a console version (not beta) of 7-zip in folder for it.
And replace all paths with yours.
And you may need an administrator rights otherwise script will not work (I think this is only for disk C)Attached Files:

Yes. Right in your server folder.
[DOUBLEPOST=1437666338][/DOUBLEPOST]Just checked on my server. Works great. But oxide did not updated since latest rust update so do not update your server right now, otherwise server will not work.Last edited by a moderator: Jul 23, 2015 -
