Updating my Rust server?

Hey when i try to update my rust server it doesn't work i've tried numerous scripts nothing works i've used scripts like these

login anonymous
force_install_dir C:/rustserver/rustds
app_update 258550 validate

2. C:\STEAMCMD\steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +force_install_dir c:\RustServerLatest\ +app_update 258550 +quit

3.C:\steamCMD\steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +force_install_dir c:\rustserver\ +app_update 258550 +quit

Nothing works everytime i put in a script it doesn't work it just says "cannot find command" or something like that sometime it just shuts down and then i think it works but it doesnt

There is also a file where my rustserver is at if someone could hook me up with a script that will be consistent with that location it would be great in other words i need a script that works

Put both files into your rustserver folder edit the validate file if needed

 

and for linux?
