Solved Updating my rented Rust server?

Can anyone tell me how I update the server? Its rented on SurvivalServers and they dont say a way of updating it.

 

Best to put in a support ticket and ask them

 

So now i updated my server but it doesnt detect any Oxide Plugins. What do i do?

You need to install plugins installing oxide does not install plugins for you as well

 

You either download dev release for rust adn FTP it to your root server folder or auto update it if ur server hosting service allows you to do it

And put all files (Not .bat and .exe) into your rust server root folder!

 

When you update Rust itself it uninstalls oxide and rust:io. You will need to hit the update buttons in your providers control panel to update/install oxide and rust:io as well.

you run the steam update in your control panel. but be warned! i broke my server. this is the reply i got from survival servers:

 

Yeah I always give the host a few hours to get their s*** together before I update my servers
