Updating config files

    When a new plugin update comes out do i have to remove the config file to generate a new one or will the old config work fine without a problem?

    That really depends on the plugin and how it was coded. Usually the plugin configs will not update unless the author codes the plugin to do that.

    Okay thanks wulf, I'am just trying to eliminate possible problems because my server has been crashing lately and i'am not receiving any errors. What would cause my server to stop responding? the server doesn't crash it just sits there not responding to anything.

    Yea i checked my logs they report no errors, I'am beginning to think its a denial of service attack.
