1. Hey guys, I seem to be unable to find my server through the community tab. I connected to it through IP connect just fine. When logging off though to view it in the tabs, it wasn't there. It wasn't even in my server history, like it never existed. However I can still connect to it via IP connect. Can anybody explain this phenomenon?

  2. if it has oxide in it then it a modded server, it will not show in the community tab..

  3. Okay, here is an interesting piece of info to give. When my friend is on it, I can see it in the friends tab, the server is what I called it. "Fresh Wipe 1/2/17 All Welcome" but when your in game and hit the info button in the top left, it says "Amsterdam II" with 223/500 people on it. I feel like something is causing these two servers to not appear, because I can't find that server listed either in any tabs, just Amsterdam I and II.
[DOUBLEPOST=1483364465][/DOUBLEPOST]It's vanilla right now, but a lot of my google searches lead me to this site, so I figured the intelligent people here could answer my question.
[DOUBLEPOST=1483364554][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, completely aside from all this, none of the admin commands I've found work, except for "inventory.giveto" No other commands listed in any of the wikis work. I am the owner, and have set myself up as the owner through Rusty.

  4. thats impossable
[DOUBLEPOST=1483364768][/DOUBLEPOST]right, the description and stuff isnt set up correctly thats why you see that.

  5. I got screenshots for you.
[DOUBLEPOST=1483364987][/DOUBLEPOST]You can see by looking in the background, I'm staring at the same river, so I'm not trying to screw with anybody or anything.

    it's

inv.giveplayer "player" "item" "amount", Gives 'Player' the 'Item'.

  7. You can see in this picture that I've set up the host name. The description I don't think has anything to do with the fact that the info page is reading me at a different server, when I am indeed on mine.

Also, we let ALL servers load and the searched the community tab. My server pulls up now. However, this still doesnt explain why the wrong server is shown when clicking the info button while in game.

  9. Where do I do that at? I don't use oxide, I rent a server from game servers. Is there an FTP I do that at, or is it literally just the batch file.

  10. its the batch file

  11. Does updating your batch file wipe the server? Nothing was important on it, but my friend said the small platform he built is gone and he's in another location.

  12. probally

  13. This might give rise to some of my issues.... When I go into my FTP Filezilla, There's a whole different server folder than mine. I just created this server tonight, however there's stuff in the folder that isn't mine that had been modified as far back as last March.

The "Amsterdam II" thing is when you directly connect to it via your F1 console, you won't have the actual header, name, or description showing when you hit ESC or disconnect from it, as those are only shown when you connect via the server list, not F1. It's not from it not being set.

Updating the .bat file does not wipe your server, but your map may change if you change the +server.seed, +server.worldsize, or +server.salt which would also create a new .sav under the "server" folder to match those.
Most wikis for Rust show the OLD Rust commands from the legacy version, which most of them do not work in the current Rust version.
