I'm interested in your ways, to build a bigger community which players, that always like to join your server. There are so many modded servers in rust and some of them always have 50+ players at the same time. But what do they what others dont do?
As example: I dont want to compare my server to another one, I only want some nice hints to get better.
I am really experienced in managing plugins, editing them...
I've got a steam group of around 400 players...
I've got a good root server which can handle 100+ players
So let me hear your suggestions ;-)
To all (ex)serverowners: What do you do to keep and improve your community?

Being unique is a big thing that a lot of players will look for (unique plugins / ways of handling issues ETC.), also I have noticed a lot of players tend to stay away from "over-modded" servers, so keeping plugins to a low isn't exactly a bad thing (less is more). One big thing that helps grow a community is updating your server ASAP when a new rust update is released and also short wipe times. Although a lot of players want 2 week or even monthly wipes, I found that having 1 week wipes can help keep a lot of players entertained.
(these are just some things that i found in my time from owning serverif you have any questions, feel free to ask away)

1- Good server performance, Tested with many airdrops, many players at pvp, events, not plugin errors, or any lag.
2- Be informative, with information about how the server works, and explaining each feature on the server.
3- Not do Admin Abuse, Avoid Mods or Admins Playing, just avoid that, will be better a server without staff that with staff playing.
4- Take in care about the Players reporting: Bugs, Glitchs, Hacks, Cheaters, Demands, more kits, more loot, etc...
5- Be Unique.
