Hi Guys,
I'm getting a weird error message. This is a brand new server with the latest updates from Rust and Oxide.
Everything works, except about once a minute people get kicked off the server, and the only error message I get is:
TimeWarning: AIHandler.Cycle took 42.96 seconds (42955ms)
Any ideas?

Looks like a Rust warning, nothing from us.
-
well as written, it took 43secs for the server to take care of the AI.
don't think it's really that that made it lag, probably your server that lagged out. -
I'm going to try to reload the server again from scratch just in-case something went wrong during install.
@Reneb hate to say it, but I have more resources thrown at this thing than you can probably believe Haha. I hope it isn't my server lagging out. I think something is wrong, just gotta find it
[DOUBLEPOST=1420507931,1420494136][/DOUBLEPOST]So far, I haven't had any luck resolving this issue. Has anyone ever used KVM in order to host a Virtual Machine of Windows Server 2008 in order to run a Rust server? I have 8 Cores, and 8Gb of Ram dedicated to this box. It is also Bridged over eth0 on the kvm host box.
Anyone have similar issues? -

Hello everyone, since one week we are suffering lag in our server. Since we have this problem these issues appears in the console:
TimeWarning: Net.sv.Cycle took 1.90 seconds (1900ms)
TimeWarning: AIHandler.Cycle took 1.16 seconds (1156ms)
It's getting worse, all the time that we get this message the server suffers lag. We have different plugins and I'm not sure if this error could be in a plugin. Here is the list of plugins that I've got:
- admin-door-unlocker
- authlevel
-chathandler
- deathnotes
- Fly
- Give
- helptext
- Kits
- m-CraftingRate
- m-GatherRate
- m-Godmode
- m-Teleportation
- m-Time
- notifier
- RemoverTool
- RotAG-Groups
- Save
- StackSizes
- TimedExplosivesModifier -
How many entities on ur server?

I'm sorry but I'm noob in this materia...How can I check how many entities are in my server?
-
Or u can tell weight of 0.sav -
The weight of the file save.0 is 10.709 KB, I haven't got the folder entitie or ent.
-
I have installed Time plugin 1 time and it get my server to lag, so I'm not using them.
For you, my friend, need to activate logic and think about needed plugins and no needed at least. Good luck -
Even without most of the plugins that we are using we still with the same lag, it's driving me crazy...we are going to lose users if we continue like that. Please I need help?! Any idea or suggestion??? All answers are welcome, thanks!

What the rate of this msgs? 1 min? 1 hour?
-
One minute or less, its getting worse and worse. Now the seconds of lag reach 4 or 3 seconds without response in the server T.T
Thank you so much for your attention and for your patience. -
Welcome to this thread everyone! (existing @Wulf)
There is my problem... My server works fine, but yesterday my server was DDoS attacked and it goes down... I tried to use stop/start button and hosting said that can't start/stop server... I used button "update" to the latest version and after this server started. All ok, BUT this preety laggy freezes on the server hates my people.
After dat update something changed... I rly don't know what. Maybe any configs, any plugins, OR map sa well... Any ideas? Thanks.
P.S. You can check the rate of this warning msgs, thanks

Exactly that is what I've got. We didn't suffer any DDoS attack in this host, well just in the first day or second but the host stopped the attack in few hours. I attached the Log.Warning.
[DOUBLEPOST=1427749439][/DOUBLEPOST]We didn't wipe the BP data since one month ago. I don't know is that file could cause the lag or not. This evening we will remove the folder to check on the console, if its works I will let u know.Attached Files:

I have the same problem in my server, do you know how to fix it ?

The TimeWarning message is from Rust, which generally means your server is having trouble keeping up. It's likely caused by either lack of available server resources, or a plugin is flooding it with errors or intensive operations. I'd try removing plugins and see if the problem goes away.

Is anyone else seeing these errors...
TimeWarning: AIHandler.Cycle took 0.85 seconds (852ms)
??? seems to eventualy lagg the server out -
