Hello all,
Me and some friends decided to setup a rust server we now have one running on a vps , with 8vcores and 8gb ram. we have it set on 60 slots and when its hits the 60 we have a server fps of 35-100 fps. In game we are not affected by the fps drops but its annyoing to see as server owner that the fps goes all the way round. Now my question is what specs for a full dedicated server do you guys reccommend? I want to host at least 2/3 minimum 60 slots servers on it.
Lets say a i7 cpu our higher?
100mbits network our 1000mbits?
16gb of ram
would 50TB of data brandwith be enough? No idea how much rust uses on full server load.
thx in advance!
Thoughts on these dedicated specs

Get a xeon processor, and lower the storage (50 TB is too much just for rust alone) and increase the ram (since rust eats hella ram)
-
the C disk is a 120gb SSD
50tb is the brandwith
then i would go for a xeon 8 core processor with 32gb ram
Intel Xeon E3-1270 3.40Ghz
Memory: 32GB DDR3 RAM
Drive 1 :120GB SSD -

omg, Rust is so resource consuming.
-
ye im only worried about the Data brandwidth limit i have read that rust uses alot :O and my vps is unlimited data traffic atm

I just thought that your spec server could handle well around 150-200 players, not 60.

ye i ment multiple servers with 60 slots on 1 machine
