Hi,
So, I have some trouble with my server and some owners has same problem.
For me, I have some trouble with FPS of my server.
Previously, I had dedicated box with I7-4790K 16 Gb RAM on Debian
Now, dedicated box with I7-6700k 64 GB ram on Windows server
After reboot, I have like 300+ FPS (too low for this specs but is good)
After 4h, I have now 30 FPS I don't know why...
I tried with no limit of FPS, with different value for updatebatch, reinstall game, change OS, uninstall all plugins, change server...
Map size is: 3400
Tickrate : 50
saveinterval: 300
90 plugins, but problem is here, with and without plugins
I see a lot of thread with this problem, we need to find how to fix it...
Or we need to reboot each hours but isn't good...
I see problem with hooks too with more of 500 ms for each plugins using OnTick for example or other hooks like CanNetworkTo ...
And I did some test about lags when I use building plan or deployeable items on big building like 10x10x5 with full walls, pillar with different OS, server. Sounds like when we use it, Rust refresh or 'scan' around you ?
Oxide can't fix it ? Rust prefer add weapons to fix it...
Thanks
Sudden FPS drops on my server

Got an issue here.
Suddenly after the daily restart the server got real laggy, server.fps is bouncing back and forward like crazy.
I have unloaded all plugins but didn't solve the issue. Map size is 4500 around 40 players
I am running an E3-SSD-1-16 Server - E3-1225v2 - 16GB - SoftRaid 3x120GB SSD @ 3,6 GHz.
I hope you could give me some guidance on locating the problem
[DOUBLEPOST=1509979515][/DOUBLEPOST]I found out when a particular clan is upgrading their base the fps drops drastically (below 20) -
I found something:
When I reload the second server, the first has 500FPS+ and after a few moment, back at 50 FPS... -
maybe you should set core affinity to each server process?
-
if base is too big, and u have zonemanager, delete it
-
Thanks for your help
What do you mean by "set core affinity to each server process"?
With task manager? -
yep, I mean this
-
I built town to my shop but not very big for me you think it can be my problem ?
I tried to unload but no change
-
not process priority, but cores affinity
-
-
so this is not oxide problem related then, possibly hardware (maybe out of memory, I don't know)
-
EDIT: rustdedicated.exe process is on 8 CPU and I've 8 -
