StorageCleaner - Removes left over UI imagery stored in file storage

  2. Does this work with /sil? :)

  3. All stored images are in the same folder. If it stores images then this will clear them

  4. This is great THANK YOU!

Can you add something to clean up the backup folders as well? I would love to delete all the storage folders in the backups. Such a waste of space.

  5. I'm pretty sure that is out of the scope of what plugins can achieve. Usually you cant modify files on a server, this is only done using methods provided for clearing images when a sign is destroyed

  6. @k1lly0u I have folders in /*****/ruste/server/****/storage dating back to Dec 1st, last wipe was Dec 15th. Have restarted since installing this plugin, should I manually clear these old folders? I also have multiple folders for each date. My external backup plugin currently takes around 40 seconds to run, I expect if I cleared some of this out it would be quicker.

Tagging @Wulf for possibly quicker response :p

  7. Yes it will only remove images from when you first installed the plugin

  8. Would it be possible for it to just auto remove based on date/days? It feels like it would be best served by wiping any folders that were created before wipe day, I removed 2 weeks of folders before mine and my auto backup went from 40 seconds to 10, which is pretty sweet considering it runs while players are playing every 2 hours.

Essentially since multiple folders are created a day, even if you restart every day, the plugin only removes 1 folder, basically it'll never keep up with the amount being created.

  9. Have you used this yet and does it mess with /sil ? my server folder has jumped up to 16gb which is stupid but at the same time i don't want to wipe my /sil pics

@k1lly0u is there any way you can program this to bypass /sil images or is it all kept in random places making this impossible ?

  10. It does affect sil. Had to redo some of mine. I'd advise just do it up until your last wipe date and that should clear a lot of data

  11. It does effect Sil, but I haven't had any complaints so far :) It would definitely be more reliable after a wipe though I imagine once it has the full picture and a clean slate of file changes.

  12. Code:
Couldn't check for updates of following plugins as they have no ResourceID set: StorageCleaner
How about adding supprot for it? That'd be so cool.

  13. I will add it when it needs a update

  14. k1lly0u updated StorageCleaner with a new update entry:

    0.1.1

  15. Oook, so I have an idea. Is it possible that cos of this plugin some images getting messed up for some players?
For example - a lot of users expecting difficulties with LustyMap map getting black. Can this be caused be cleaner? I'm gonna disable it for some time and post the result here.

  16. @Vlad-00003 Was StorageCleaner causing black maps ??

  17. Yeah. I'm not the one with a good memory...
So, as I remember - it was incresing the amounts of ppl having black map, but even without it - that still happened.

  18. thanks will test this out

  19. Is this plugin still relevant? I don't see any new folders in storage folder since February 1

  20. The storage was converted to the database format. And yes - the plugin should still be working.
