Solved SteamCMD already up-to-date?

Hello,

Has anyone had the issue before where SteamCMD says the app is already up-to date but the server update has clearly been released? I have to backup the server folder and re-download.

Anyone had this issue?

 

My server still running under 1928 but there is 1931 out now....

 

Ahhh ok, It does have validate but it seems to ignore that... It must be the steamapps folder causing the issue. cheers mate.


Edit : Done a fresh installation and it's still showing 1928 and not 1931...

 

Usually I can update the server version before I do Oxide? Or will Oxide overwrite the server version if its not been updated?

 

If u update server before oxide is out, oxide will make ur server only accept previous version protocols.

 

Ahhh ok, I never knew it worked liked that. I just went to the Github and downloaded the 2 .dll's you updated, It's probably not the best way because you might make changes but its working

 

In line with the oxide update and using validate it works now. Thx Wulf

 

I use TCAdmin and I am still getting the error even when uninstalling reinstalling oxide via the mod tool. :/

 

Players are getting the server update required message and in the rcon tool i see they are 1931 and my server is stuck at 1928.
