Standard setting for decay?

Can anyone tell me the default settings for decay. I see multiple response as I look around and I feel like decay is not correct and is way to slow on our server currently.

 

decay.scale 1 is the default

 

That is what I thought but some places have it listed as .3 which to me would be 30%.

 

Well i tought that whas the default, I see corrosionhour saying 0.3 is the default. Im unsure now aswell lol.

Altho i really think 1 is the default, 0.5 is half

 

decay.scale 1 = normal decay, 0.5 = 50% 0 = turn decay off

 

Same thing was making me question our settings.

 

What is the point of using the NoDecay plugin if you can just set it in server.cfg?
