• Ignored empty chat commands and/or single character chat
Please reconsider this choice. This will have some negative impact. Easy for bad apples to abuse.

    Imgur Single character

    edit:
i see you addressed it. not trying to beat a dead horse, just fyi as to why i brought it up. seems there'd be no way for plugin to mute people. would have to be done with rust commands.

Umm, the purpose of this change is to block single characters, not allow them. The only thing this change did was to ignore single character messages to empty chat commands. So the only way that user would be sending the message still is if it is 1 or more characters and/or spaces, but ideally the spaces should be trimmed too. Your example is the exact opposite of what this messages is about though, so I'm assuming you misunderstood the purpose of that message.

    It isn't a BetterChat issue.

Single character chat wasn't being cancelled by Oxide, just passed to Rust to handle. I've fixed this for the next build.

  4. Hi, Wulf.
I don't know why you did it, but ignore a single character is not the best idea, because now our plugins do not handle these messages. I mean all our own chat configurations, includes muted players, name color's, text color's, size, etc. - these things are not working after your change.
Nobody doesn't report about this issue, it's strange :D
