Universal Short ID for players

    I had this nice idea where it's really annoying to use commands like /tp on people with multiple name or symbols

    What if there was a plugin to give a player a number next to their name and use number instead of player name or steamID? Like /tp 24

    That'd be something you'd need to request from the specific plugin, unless you still used their name and just added that number as a prefix.

    Keep in mind that most plugins accept partial names, so most of the time you only need to type out enough for the name to be unique. Example: If you and I were on a server, you could type /tp W and it would TP me, or /tp E or /tp Ex and it would TP you.

    So it's impossible for a plugin to replace ID with their actual player name after sending input?

    Every plugin is handling commands separately.
