Solved Sharing violation and Steam Auth Timeout Error

    hi,

    i download latest rust dedicated server files and oxide.
    When i start server without oxide player can join server. however player cannot join when i installed oxide.

    we get this error :
    Code:
    OException: Sharing violation on path C:\steamCMD\steamapps\common\d2\rust_dedicated\server\RUSToynadi\Log.EAC.txt

    Are you sure you are installing everything correctly? Have you tried a clean install?

    Chances are another instance of RustDedicated.exe is still running preventing the server from reading Log.EAC.txt which seems to block users being unable to connect.

    after installing so many server i forget little things :D my brain hurts :)

    I need some assistance, when I run serverstart.bat I load everything in but then it says IOException: Sharing violation on path Log.EAC.txt. I cant seem to figure out what way to solve it is,

    You have multiple servers running. Check Task Manager and close all running RustDedicated.exe processes.
