Solved Server won't work with Oxide (prerelease branch)

So I recently bought a rust server for me and my friends to dick about with admin on, and it all works (kinda) until I try to install oxide, after installing, the server starts but I can't join, I keep getting 'connection attempt failed'
Host Havoc host the server and it's on prerelease

You cant run a prerelease server with Oxide until you patch oxide yourself

 

please can you persuade yourself or wulf to post a detailed tutorial on how to patch oxide, i hear the patcher mentioned but i know nothing about dlls or coding. thanks
