Solved Server windows keep freezing (selecting text in console)

    In one of my windows 10 servers, the dedicated server windows freezes at random times. When I click the window with the mouse (remote desktop) and type something, it instantly unfreezes with all players kicked with the message:

    Packet Flooding: Player Tick oxide

    ... the server continues like there never was a problem and players start reconnecting.


    Any ideas besides reinstalling OS?

    edit: Hmm, maybe it's because selection mode acitivates for the window. Don't know why. Anyway disabled that, let's see if it helps.

    Yes, selecting text in the console will locks the server until unselected as the console runs in the same thread as the server. You can disable this ("Quick Edit Mode") in the Properties for Windows Command Prompt.
