Solved Server seed not working (too high of number)

    Hi,
    I'm currently making a desktop hosted server for a friend and me but if i want to select a seed from a previous server it wont use it.
    this is my .bat file:
    c:
    cd c:\Users\Pantzerkiller\Desktop\rust_dedicated
    :loop
    Rustdedicated.exe -batchmode +server.hostname "GoldenRustServers.com" +load +server.port 28015 +server.seed 3534243131 +server.identity "infused" +server.maxplayers 5
    goto loop

    it keeps using this seed: 2147483647

    3534243131 is too high of number for Rust's seeds. The max is 2147483647.

    Yes i understand you is there anyway to switch the files over to a other seed?

    You could try renaming the folder, but I doubt that'd work. I don't think there is any real way to use it.

    if im startting my old server its using 4242793870 as seed

    i already tried that :(

    Is your old server using an old version of Rust?

    yes, i tried to use the map from a previous version

    It may have been allowed at one point, but it likely changed. Your only hope of recovery may be to try to export using plugins, but other than that, I don't know of any way to load it fully.
