1. I believe this is the correct place to post this since it involves my current Rust server. If not, feel free to move it to a correct area, if any.

Moving on. It appears Survival Servers has been having an ongoing or on and off issue with their servers saving map data. As such, each time the server restarts, the entire map re-rolls to some random save point after the previous automated restart. I also believe(only in theory, I have not tested this.) that if a server were to randomly crash for what ever reason, it would also re-roll to said point in time as well as I did not have any backups or other information for my map data after this re-roll.

This is just a heads up for those considering using this host and/or currently using this host as it does not appear to be something happening to every server. If someone has a solution to this, feel free to post it and a detailed tutorial on how to do it.

  2. I use the TimedExecute to issue the server.save command every 10 minutes. I was using the savemymap plugin but recently it's been having issues
