1. My server crashed from my hosting company and I asked them to get iot back online since commands stop working. After they "fixed" it - they whiped all map and they telling me its because of the some Rust update? Which is complete nonsense, I already updated on April 9 and wiped server..

  2. and where is the question XD?

  3. sorry , I am just so dam pist on gameservers host company. My question is this response from them is complete lie?

  4. its true that there are limits for the seeds.
don't remember the limits but they seem good

  5. ugh.. Great I still feel like they mes it up and reset my map saved data in accident and trying to blame "updates" when all new updates were done for the server. I only updated the build for Oxide and server cut off - so I asked them to look into it and i got all screwed up.

  6. Do any of you have issues with your server randomly stop saving? I restarted my server to update Oxide and I noticed in my FTP that it randomly stopped saving the map a day earlier. It has been doing this for awhile. I'll check my FTP saves and notice it hasn't been saving for days sometimes.

What to do to prevent this??

  7. I usually do manually once a day just in case ;) and I do back ups for save folder.. I had bad experiences for not having a back up :/

  8. I try this as well, but when I try to manually save it won't do anything.

Oxide itself doesn't do anything with game saves, so the only reason it could be is a plugin messing with something that is causing the server to be unable to save the world correctly, else it's an issue with the Rust server itself. Backing up before updates is always a good practice though, even though Rust updates often force wipes due to protocol / save version changes.
