Solved Server outdated with update (outdated Oxide)

    with the lastest rust update oxide is not working.
    i update my server and i can connect fine without oxide, then i try to connect with oxide installed and it says server update required. so its like oxide is forcing my server to go back to the older version.

    You need to update Oxide, there was no build for it until a couple mins ago.

    You don't have the latest build of Oxide then. Check the version on your server with oxide.version and compare against the release.

    You may have the Oxide DLLs updated, the game's Assembly-CSharp.dll likely not. The protocol is set by Rust, Oxide mods the Rust DLLs. If you are truly on Oxide 2298 with all files updated, then you'd be able to connect. I'd suggest shutting down and doing a re-install, making sure to replace ALL files included with Oxide.
