1. So. Rust did a 23 or so mb update, and now after updating the server and reinstalling oxide it says when whenever someone joins that the server is out of date.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your server isn't updated fully. Make sure you aren't installing an old Oxide build, as it will contain the patched Rust DLLs for that specific version.

  3. Thank you for the response. After running the update on the server, I can connect fine. But its only after I drag in oxide that it then refuses to let players join.

You'd be installing an older Oxide build then. Make sure you're downloading the latest build and that your server is set to the release branch of Rust.

Oxide is a mod, so it includes patched files from the version of the game it supports. If you install an older build, you'd be downgrading some of the game. As of the last Rust update yesterday, Oxide is updated for it.

  5. I'll make sure that I'm using the latest version of oxide then. Please note I only made the server a few days ago

Check the oxide.version command after starting it. If it doesn't match the version for Oxide.Rust shown here: Release build changelog then you've somehow gotten and older build. I'd suggest re-downloading and making sure to replace ALL files when installing Oxide.

  7. Okay! I shall reply here with my findings...

  8. I got it working!
