1. Hello,

After the recent update for rust, whenever i start the server i receive the below error message.

"The referenced script on this Behaviour (Game Object 'lantern.deployed') is missing!"

This inturn prevents the server from booting, any ideas ?

Sounds like your server isn't fully updated. Make sure Rust is updated and that you're using the latest Oxide build.

  3. I have now updated several times using "app_update 258550 validate" and reinstalled oxide yet does not affect the outcome.

Check the oxide.version command and post the result here please.

  5. Where do i find this ?

Errr right, you can't boot your server... I'd suggest making sure your server starts fine as vanilla, then go from there. If the server does not start after installing Oxide, you're somehow getting an old build, likely cached from your download source.

  7. Ok so ill try re updating my server and running from there

  8. Ok server boots ok without oxide

  9. Same here

You're somehow getting an old Oxide build then. Try downloading Oxide from an incognito/private browser window.

Details please? We can't help with just "same here".

You're most likely using and old Oxide build too then. Go through the steps I mentioned previously please.

  12. I have followed the steps above yet still receiving the same error

  15. Reinstalled my server and placed all my server files in the same folder as steamcmd.
Everything works out now so to the guy who started this thread try do the same and see if it works for you.

Yeah, you're still somehow getting an old build. :/

  18. How can i get around this

Try a new server install and a browser instance where your cache has been cleared (private / incognito), this is the only fix.

Old Rust DLLs from an old Oxide build on a new Rust install = no go.
