1. Ok, so I ran my update script, and it updated, then I installed Oxide and Rust:IO, then I run my start script like normal and it just says "echo off" and it's a blank window. Server not starting and I made no change to my before working command line. Can anyone help?
    I'm on Windows Server.
PM me for my update scripts

This is why auto-update scripts are not recommended. ;)

  4. I even don t know what it is ;-)

For us, we launched filezilla, we took the directory and that is it... but if it happens during the auto update... it is dead !

Outdated build = outdated, don't assume the latest is compatible, make sure to check the Changelog and/or commit notes.

  6. oh sorry i thought i was on another topic ... lol ;-) Wulf = check vanish ;-)

  7. Well RustyForest wrote it for me, worked for him, anyway, the script just runs the steam update for me, and then I put in oxide.

Yeah, but I bet it doesn't actually check if a build is compatible. ;)

  9. Do you have one that DOES check if it's compatible? :)

One of the tools under he Tools section might, but no guarantees.

  11. I have a server running on a dedicated and it's ok.
Now I am trying to run one in local for testing plugins, etc, it get stuck on "Starting server...". I did download all the files again like 4 times (oxide and server files).

Vanilla works fine, but with Oxide nope.
Maybe firewall or something like that?

Check your RustDedicated_Data/output_log.txt for errors. It's not a firewall, you have errors preventing it from starting.

  13. I can't find what's wrong.

From that it looks like you're likely using an outdated Assembly-CSharp.dll, else something is missing. I'd suggest making sure you are getting the latest of everything and try a re-install.

  15. I did a clean install, but the problem remains.

So I did erase SteamCMD folder and clean install and it's working.

    Thank you Wulf.
