Server not showing up on list

    Hey all, I'm having some issues with my Rust server. I'm currently running a Ubuntu 16 server off of AWS EC2. Its working flawlessly except Rust is not showing up on the server list? All the ports are forwarded in the setting and I can connect to the server including my friends via direct connect.

    The server, oxide, and plugins are all up to date. The name is formatted correctly as well. However, one thing of concern is that a port checker is saying my ports are closed. However, I can connect to the server, and game tracker verifies my server is online.

    Any solutions or ideas to this problem?

    Most port checkers only check TCP, not UDP which the game uses. If your friends can connect to the server remotely via direct connect, then the port is accessible, but it may take some time for the Rust clients/Steam to list the server.
