So after installing Rust update (3/31/2017) and then copying over oxide snapshot (for most recent version) my server will start but wont show up in server browser and none of my plugins are working. I see errors in the log file but an unable to figure out what broke. Any Ideas?

2.0.3169 is not the latest build, see Release Changelog | Page 9 | Oxide. The only error in your log isn't related to Oxide either.

@logikgear care to explain how you fixed that NAT issue. I'm having the same problem with server not showing up, I've ran a server in the past and had no problems like this, I recently wanted to run another, and now I'm having problems trying to get it to show up on the list.

I use PfSense. From what I remember because I have been doing at lot of configuring recently so its not fresh in my mind. I had to set an outbound NAT rule for the physical servers IP and the Rust Game server port. On top of having the port forwarding set. Now those setting are so it will show up outside of my network. Being that I use PfSense I personally inside my network was unable to the server because PfSense doesn't allow you to go out and then back into your own network. so I have PureNAT turned on and configured so I am able to see my server in the server list in game. The problem I had was I had accidentally selected TFTP Proxy for that interface. ( have my game server on its own VLAN. So it wasn't working. Deselected that interface from TFTP Proxy and it started working just fine.

@logikgear Yeah I understand, this is crazy though, I've set up servers in the past, In the past I've allowed access to the ports in both firewall and router, and wham bam it worked, but now I try setting up a server and nothing I do will show it on the list, I read that it may take time for it to show, but I mean I've had the server running well over an hour and still nothing. I can connect to my server via client.connect, when I look at the server Info its says Amsterdam II, I don't know what that means, I live in U.S > VA. I'm going to leave my server up for the next 24h, Also just so I'm clear, the ports that needed forwarding are 28015 and 28016 correct? Also should the I.P be my Ipv4 same as what I see if I type "ipconfig" into cmd? or should it be the IP I get from googling my ip?

@logikgear The name of the server is "Fun4Dayz 10x TP Home Zlevels and more." my router is Cisco DPC3825, also I am using the Rustide server manager tool it that makes any difference. Sorry for late reply had to get some sleep for work xD.

Was that the same router you were using before? Do you have the Internal IP set in the rustserver config file? Do you have both Ports 28015 & 28016 forwarded for TCP/UDP ?

@logikgear Well I've had servers on different router's before, but I've had a server running on this router before as well, one reason being that the ports were still forwarded when I checked on this router. As for the internal IP, as I mentioned above I'm using the Rustide Manager Config, so if you know what that is, then mind explaining where/how I add my IP to it. Also yes 28015 and 28016 are both forwarded in router and firewall for both TCP/UDP.

to edit the file manual you will need to install a text editor like notepad++.
Stop your server. You are going to want to go to the rust program folder and edit the file "rustserver.*" I put a * because I run a Linux server and am not sure what the file extension is. Once you open that in notepad++ you will scroll down till you fine the ###Server Settings### section. In that secion there is a line ip="0.0.0.0". Change it to your servers local IP. Restart the server and give it about 30 mins before you start looking for it to show up.
If you want to edit your Rustide Config instead you will want to add a line before the port number it should look something like "Set _ip="192.168.0.xxx"
The problem I was having is Steam doesn't like you using "localhost or 0.0.0.0" when behind some routers. Not sure why but I fought it for about an hour the first time before changing it and it working.
Also do you have those inbound rules mirrored in outbound?
