1. Hi guys! I have setup my personal server in a Dual-NAT system.. Plex is accessible to the outside world.. so as my game RUST accessible outside my network.. my friends can play.. but they are using the F1 client.connect 49.148.193.12:28015 command...

I can even find my server in playrust.io.. just not in game main menu Modded list or even the Local Network list! OMG!

Also, gives the default amsterdam 2

Also, I can't connect via the public ip but I can connect in my own local ip: client.connect 192.168.2.17:28015

I have setup proper header, links.. etc..

    Code:
    cd rustds
    RustDedicated.exe -batchmode +server.port 28015 +server.level "Procedural Map" +server.seed 1234567 +server.worldsize 3000 +server.maxplayers 20 +server.hostname "T22 Gaming Server" +server.description "Let me see your sexy builds." +server.url "http://t22gaming.com" +server.headerimage "http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e323/ryuuen_22/Rust-header.jpg" +server.identity "t22gaming_server" +rcon.port 28016 +rcon.password *********** +rcon.web 1 -logFile "output.txt"
    cd ../goto start

    here's my dual nat setup

If you're behind the router on the same network, it likely won't show for you, only others outside your network.

  3. but the amsterdam 2 thing still shows up.. i cant event reconnect via a button.. haha i hate to use console command for re/connecting

That button is what shows when you direct connect. You won’t see the actual info in that box when direct connecting.

  5. so, i tried to use my mobile network and tethered it to my pc and now I see my server in the list... so, I'm the only one who can't see the server if im using the same network where my server is... thanks Wulf...

Is there a way I can see it on my "Local Network" ? or is it a Rust thing?

Not that I know of, that's more of it the machine is on a separate machine as your client I think. You could try adding it as a favorite via Steam's server browser or connecting to a friend outside of the network and then adding it to favorites.

  7. I already added it on my favorite when I used my mobile data.. but now im back to my ethernet, it's gone on the list hahahaa

  8. This bat file will open rust and connect to your server if it's active. Modify it if you want.
Now you can just run it and boom.

  9. @Water 3 you have an extra space in the bat line on your first post here is the fix I also added other things you had missing from the bat file download the file rename it if you want and edit it with notepad++ as I set the rcon password to 1234
This is a bat file for running it from your home windows based pc

  10. none of them work! I found the solution on different dedicated server guides.. the solution was just to add the server in steam servers as favorite...
now it's showing on my end!
