Solved Server not showing in Modded list (Oxide not installed)

    Can the server still show up if oxide is not updated to the rust version?

    Show where? If your server's protocol is outdated, it will not show in the Rust server list.

    Are you on the public branch, or staging? Oxide only supports the releases, not staging.

    It's set in your update script, or host. The latest "release" of Rust is what the latest version of Oxide shows in the update notes on the Downloads page.

    I have ran it and reinstalled oxide, but I still don't see it on the server listing
    Edit: Sorry for the trouble, my server before was showing up on the modded listing, but not it is showing up on the community server listing

    That generally means Oxide is not installed. When Oxide is installed, it will be under the Modded list.

    Any Rust update will uninstall it as it is a mod. You'd need to re-install it after.

    Sorry, I mean I installed it right after as usual
    Edit: I restarted the server and it is showing up on modded list again

    Sometimes you have to restart it for Oxide to kick in, I don't know why... but I have the same issue sometimes. If you don't see the yellow text in the bottom right corner just restart until you see it.

    The yellow text only shows if the server has the modded DLL. Oxide is not loaded unless that DLL is modded, it isn't a random thing. ;)

    That means it isn't installed. ;)

    Oxide doesn't load or not load, it is either installed or not. The Assembly-CSharp.dll has to be modded with Oxide, else it will not load.
