1. So I have been running Rust servers for some time now, but my modem died and I have a new one setup. after port forwarding and getting it all running (can access the rcon on the app on my phone) but the game wouldn't show in Rust servers. I've noticed the game wasn't saving so I forced saved with server.save and this is the message I get

"Invalidate Network Cache took 0.00 seconds
    Saved 2,680 ents, serialization(0.00), write(0.00), disk(0.00) totalstall(0.00).
    Saving complete"

I'm not sure what I need to do to fix this so I can run my server. I have made a new server (including a fresh wipe of Win10) and I still cant get it to work.

    Thanks for any help!

  2. I just clicked, it might be the Netgear Switch blocking it. I have work early so I have to log off. I'll test it out tomorrow and see what happens.

Edit: Went straight from modem to pc and it's Still not working.

Those are normal messages ^, not errors or warnings.

    That's a Linux-only issue.

  4. After fishing around (Should be sleeping as I have work in 5 hours) I think this issue might be with Windows Firewall. Which I will look at after work. I never had this issue until I got a new modem. I really hope it's just Windows.

Is your issue just that you can't see the server or connect to it? Are you hosting it on the same network or remotely?

  6. I have a pc dedicated as a Rust server. It was running fine until my modem died and had to get another one. Since then I cant seem to get it to show up in Rust. My rcon app only seems to be able to connect to it when on my WiFi and not on phone data.

  7. strange issue

  8. I think it might be the firewall in the router. I'm banging my head against the wall. At least I'll have 8 hours at work now to think about it.

  9. Ok, so I finally got the port forward to work but I still cant get the server to show in the server list or connect with my Rust WebRCON app on my phone outside my home network. I can how ever connect to the server going through F1 and typing in the IP address and port.

    Any help on this part?

Did you forward the rcon.port too?

  11. I have and its open from what I can see on canyouseeme.org but the port forward process on this modem seems really messed up and not right.

  12. Ok, so I have another modem, same as the one I used to have. the game now shows in the list and everything seems to be working fine except rcon, my admin and myself can't connect to it unless we are on the network (wifi inc). when on the network apps on my phone and pc can connect but outside of it the rcon apps fail to connect. the firewall is off on the modem and my antivirus has Rust fully trusted for outside connections.

I know im being and have been annoying with this but I'm out of ideas.

    sorry and thanks
