If you are having issues connecting, please provide your server startup script and what type of network setup you have.

Wulf I can connect fine with client.connect localhost:28015
But I cant invite my friends to it and it doesn't appear on the list. The video shows exactly how I made the server. Have you got any ideas what I should do?

So I give my router's ip adress to friends for client.connect? Also, when I do "invite to game" on my friends, it says "server not responding" when they try to connect via the invite.
[DOUBLEPOST=1485877989][/DOUBLEPOST]Do I need to pay for hosting or can it b public on the list for free? -
1, Google
2, SteamCMD - Valve Developer Community
second one is only related to steam games, but mostly based on your few posts arround I would stick with google and start there from the whole scratch -
If its not working, then your firewall isn't letting traffic in and out. My router's tickbox for this is faded and it wont let me tick I :/
How do I update my oxide server?Last edited by a moderator: Feb 1, 2017 -

You'd update Oxide the same way you install it, by downloading Oxide, extracting it, and overwriting it over your server install. -
So I just re install oxide?

Yes, but save before and shutdown your server. If you know how you could write a fully automatic startup script.

Save example.bat or save run ds.bat?
