1. Hi All,

This may have come up before, and I apologise if it has. I've also read a few threads that are like it, but not specifically the same (e..g. server not showing at all, server not showing when using rust.io, etc.)

Is anyone else finding that when they install Oxide, the server comes back up, and appears only in favorited or history, but not in modded.

The moment i remove Oxide, it reappears in Community, correctly.

It's been occuring since friday evening, this time round, but happens randomly throughout the month and usually a removal of oxide then re-adding, fixes it, but not this time.

I'm with GTX Gaming and all they keep saying is there's a bug with facepunch where the servers randomly disappear. (I've seen the comment on facepunch's website / forums about it, but that was back in november)
Is there anything i can do ( i was hoping the oxide community might have a workaround or know what the fix is)

    Thanks.

Oxide doesn’t control your server listing, that is entirely up to Rust and Steam. All Oxide does is add the “modded” and “oxide” tags, which the modded tag is what Rust uses to list it under Modded.

  3. Thanks Wulf... I kinda knew you'd post that.

It's really annoying though, to think i'm paying for a service, that can't fully be utilised due to a facepunch / rust / steam issue. :( I really lose heart with running a server, when this happens. a ton of my player base have walked away to other servers, saying they'd return when it's resolved (and i don't blame them to be honest). I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel as the devs at facepunch, know about it, but seem to want to bring out weird and wonderful ideas and look after those people whose servers ARE still working correctly, instead of working on stability and looking after the server owners who are having problems.

I know it can be frustrating, it’s probably the most common thing we see around here. As far as I know, it is just a matter of Steam seeing the change and the client seeing those changes as well.
