Server name change

    Every time I try and change the server.hostname it goes back to the old one.I am hoping someone can help me figure this out.

    Your GSP could be overwritting any change you are trying to make. Are you editing the server.cfg directly or doing it through your control panel?

    Thru the control panel[DOUBLEPOST=1393623289][/DOUBLEPOST]
    Thank you I changed it thru the config and it worked:)

    the server host name has nothing to do with oxdie but next time it would be easy if you just contacted your provider where you brought the server from and they would of explained it to you more, they can do the name change for you if you would like them to

    sorry to be a noob but I rented a sever off nitrous networks and everytime I change the sever name nothing happens its called 1 atm lol

    sever.hostname UK 50x Instactaft/Qsmelt/Nodecay/Remove/ManyMore

    server.hostname

    It should also be set in your startup script or server/identity/cfg/server.cfg, not in the console.
