1. Hello

    Just a quick post as I know it was brought up about memory leaks in the last update. If I install oxide my server memory is increasing very quickly and this is a fresh install.

    Installed Plugins

    Before I start stripping it down does anyone know if any of the mods I have installed have compatibility issues with each other?

    Godmode is throwing all kind of errors up could this be the problem?

    Remove all plugins and go from there. The deprecated hook warning is just a warning, not an error, and it will not affect anything.

I've already tried loading each plugin in and giving it 5 minutes inbetween, No change after loading each plugin 14% memory after a restart but goes up after a couple of hours (watching memory) I've also unloaded each plugin to see if the memory would come back down but it didn't. This was a fresh install yesterday and with 4 people its using 75%

    Welcome to Rust,

    This is a bug in the Unityengine, as we can read in the last Devblog. They are Aware and rust said it to Unity, they have to wait for a fix, will take some time.
     
  5. Yeah like I said on my first post I'm aware of the memory leaks in unity. This post was intended to see if anyone knew of any plugins that were making the memory leaks worse. If I install a vanilla server it goes a lot slower but after installing oxide with plugins it could be 2 hours and the memory rockets. I'm going to update the plugins that were updated today and hopefully something changes lol. Roll On unity updates.

    U talk about the net.sv.cycle timeouts or just about the mem explode

    I'm not to worried about them as its most probably Rust. 100 player server running 4000 map size. Just restarted the server and its running better 18 people in and the memory was 85% of 10 gig.

    yeah nothing Special... Oxide will make more laggs cuz of requests but well we cant cahnge anything here... waiting for unity
     
  9. Well thanks anyways, just need to find a way of restarting the server, alerting player that the server is restarting and save.

    U can use TimedExecute. I use it for a restart every 6 hours.

  12. Hmm looks like I'll need to login while at work to restart every 6 hours. Hopefully Unity have it fixed for Thursdays update.

  15. There is no solution from the oxide part, its a bug on unity! You can only wait for it to be fixed by them on this Thursday update! The rust team said in their last devblog that they have notified unity about this issue.

    I have the same problem as you do, but my server have more memory :) I've seen it use 10GB

    Well my Server laggs also but noone should say its cuz of this

    @RustUpdates Server still running with ents: 240685 with a size of 20463577 It is a #rust gameover a lot of woonkie stuff happens ^^

    GG ME i broke the ENGINE there xD

    BUT I WANNA BLAME OXIDE FOR THIS!
     
  17. This is also not an oxide problem, when a rust server exceeds 150000 entities or coliders! the physics can go crazy its know and old bug! In a dev blog(idk which one) garry said that they were working on a fix. So you can't blame oxide for this! I wipe my server every week to prevent this.

    BUT I WANT IT!!!!! But i only blame @Wulf he is the reason! :D Im just fooling dude...

    But i can blame oxide for it as well... a way too good MOD that just satisfies my players so hard... they say already the GOD DAMN LAGG is the best FEATURE on my SERVER :D

    There is a possible leak we are looking into regarding web requests, but we haven't figured out where yet. I'd recommend testing without plugins that use webrequests to see if that helps your issue for the time being.
