Oxide does not wipe your server when installed. Sometimes hosts do, but most do not. Make sure you are using the same +server.seed that you were using before, else specify one if you aren't, otherwise Rust will create a random map each time you start it.

Also keep in mind that some Rust updates have forced wipes, which you can't restore a backup or use an existing save with.

  3. I Know But I dont know what is the problem I have a seed and host didnt wipe it I know maybe it is about lag? I restarted my server and logged that "failed to read past end of stream" is it about that? Ty,

That generally means there is something wrong with your save, possibly due to a saving issue, improper shutdown, bad entity, etc.

  5. Okay I think it is about server restart.server lagged and restarted by itself and that happened :S

    Ty so much,

  6. Just to clarify - you did put server.seed xxxxxxxxxx in your .bat, right? Would hate for you to lose your map over such an easy oversight ;)

  7. RustDedicated.exe -batchmode +server.seed "732346" +server.worldsize "4000"

  8. Ok, just wanted to be sure haha. Sorry about your map!
