In reference to Server is crashing for out of memory | Oxide.
It occurred to me is there a dump memory plugin/setting/script that can be set on a timer to keep the servers from crashing?
Server has exceeded kill count stopping service

Unless you're running some nasty plugins that gobble up memory, it's likely that your server just doesn't have enough memory to run properly.

I was thinking that, we "had" an issue with simpleloot plugin kept throwing errors a fresh install of the plugin worked, but the server has restarted 15times today. It is a gameservers box. 2 servers, 1x100man server with 20+ players and a huge seed, and the second (this one keeps crashing) same server specs but its a 50man server with 3/4 players all day.
i find it super strange its behaving this way.

Is there a fix or a straight solution for this issue? Just started my first server recently and have had nothing but problems with too many entities and constant crashing which requires constant restarting. WatchDog is not compatible apparently and I have set up a auto restart during low peak hours.

And that is just today...
I have no mods, no plugins, vanilla config. 50 ppl through Game Servers but have never had more than 5 on at the same time. Around 84,000 entities and climbing!
I haven't tried a full wipe reinstall yet, avoiding this for obvious reasons. Have about 40 hrs into the map right now.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, thanks! -

Yeah, wasn't aware that was the entire amount of RAM it was allocating, does seem like a messed up joke but I guess you get what you pay for. I'm looking into upgrading player slots now, GS tech recommends 300 (?). I'm sure that would fix the crashes but am still worried about the number of entities growing.
*Sigh* should have just stayed on the other side of the fence -

@Melvin_A51 I posted in this thread previously as we had the same issue, however we resolved our issue easily by changing host. Now we own a hosting company instead lol.
However the issue is caused by your host limiting the amount of RAM on the server. Upgrading the slots for the server is not a fix, and changing to a smaller map is only a very short term fix.
My advice is to change your host to someone that is not going to limit the RAM for your server. Our own servers Run at a mimimum of 4.5gb RAM and range up to 12-15gb RAM depending on playercount, plugins, and mapsize.
There are many hosts i could recommend including ourselves, but it is ultimately your own choice to do this.
I wish you luck and hope you find something better. -
I had a similar problem with gameservers a few months ago. I opened a ticket, and within 30 minutes, they had upgraded the Ram allocation for me and did not increase the bill. have had no problems since.
