Rust Scary / spooky fog

  1. I want to create a scary event on my server and I'm looking for a way to control the fog.

    Is there any way to;
    1) create local patches of fog
    2) increase/decrease the density of the fog as required.

    No one ever leaves the fog - muhahahaha.

    If it helps, imagine a maze only open at night that has well place lighting and fog effects mixed with effects played at just the right moments etc.

  3. Damn that sucks on so many levels.. oh well, will have to workout another way to scare the shit out of people.
    Just thinking about it though - RCON can manipulate fog in the sense it can turn it on and off, so surely the server has at least some rudimentary control over it?

    I wonder if the server can push commands to the client to create fog at x,y,z etc - does anyone know if that is possible?
     
  4. The fog cannot be placed at specific position, you can only enable and disable it.
    The only way is to use supply signal fog with spawning it at specific point

    Using the Rust CUI and fog-like images may work.
