Solved Saving settings and configs for Rust?

    Hi guys,

    After I updated Steam all of my mods reset and are no longer working through Streamlineservers

    &

    Whenever I restart my server all of the settings go back to default

    How do I make it so all of my mods and setting stay the same after server restart and/or steam update?

    Oxide is a mod, it needs to be installed AFTER every update you do. For this reason, you should only update when an update is available for Rust or if there are issues with the current version of Oxide you are using.

    For the settings, you need to use "server.writecfg" after making any changes via Rust commands.

    You can also put some settings in your serverauto.cfg file for them to run when server starts. Like your server description etc.

    I don't think that file is actually used. The only file I've seen to be used is cfg/server.cfg that is created in the server root.
